Dietitian-Nutritionist Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders & Obesity.
National Centre for Eating Disorders, London U.K.
I graduated from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the Alexandrian Technological Institute of Thessaloniki, presenting a diploma thesis on the research of nutritional disorders of the female population in a sample of 100 women.
I then gained specialization in the treatment of obesity and eating disorders in adults and children from the Center for Education and Counseling for Eating Disorders under the auspices of the NCFED National Center for Nutritional Disorders in Great Britain. I am a holder of the Metabolomic and Nutrition Medicine Certification of the European Institute of Nutrition Medicine, EINuM.
Since 2006 I've been working with dietetic offices and mental health centers. My articles have been published in magazines, newspapers and also on the Internet. I have also edited the writing of food and cooking books.
I have dealt with the science of Nutrition because I always believed in her important role in achieving and maintaining good health.
Metabolomic medicine came into my life very smoothly because it matched the idea I have been ambitious over the years, namely the relationship of diet and the health of a person. I have always believed that the way one feeds, but also the way of life and the environment can influence the course of his health and the shortcomings that he will create in the organization sooner or later will appear in one way or another. Metabolomics is here to identify these deficiencies and to prevent or deal with any health problems.
