Nutritionist
Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity
Graduate of the European Institute of Nutritional Medicine

I was born in Thessaloniki on 14 June 1980. In February 2006 I graduated from the Nutrition and Dietetics Department of Crete, with a grade point average of 8.43.

I quickly realized the important role of psychology and the need for medical intervention, in nutritional support.

We hold a heath office with my husband, physical education teacher, Theodoros Semadis, at Eyosmos of Thessaloniki since August 2009. A place that we did not want it to be just another dietary office that would highlight the numbers of the measurements and the scales, but a training area around the benefits of food, body care and nutrition therapy.

This observation led me in 2011 to complete the Master Practitioner's Program in Eating Disorders & Obesity, which is being run by the Center for the Study of Eating Disorders and Nutrition Disorders, under the aegis of the Institute for Nutrition Studies & Research in partnership with the National Center for Eating Disorders of Great Britain (NCFED).

As part of this training, I met Dr. Dimitris Tsoukalas, when I attended a lecture on the science of Metabolomics, unknown to me at that time.

An important health issue led me to trust the Metabolomic Analysis and finally to accept the benefits of the treatment that Dr. Tsoukalas and his colleagues proposed to me. I found through experiential experience the restoration of the normal functioning of my organism through the nutrition and the supplementation of the extinct coalescents. Very specific, personalized, nutritional guidelines and appropriate complementary treatment based on my cellular deficiencies have led to biochemical balance and self-esteem.

Since 2012, I have been performing Metabolomic Profile exams in my nutrition office with great success; I have excellent collaboration with Metabolomic Medicine Clinic. I am a holder of the title of the European Institute of Nutrition Medicine (Å.É.Í.Ì.).

In the framework of my education, my presence at Metabolomic Medicine Clinic and my education next to Dr. Tsoukalas and his colleagues, has been an excellent experience, essential for insisting on the knowledge about the use of supplements and holistic therapeutic support for people suffering from chronic and metabolomic diseases.

It is worth noting from personal experience that with appropriate scientific support, Metabolomic Analysis can help not only chronic patients but also those who recover from eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.

My motto is that a good nutritionist is not just a dietitian but a carer and a therapist.
